BioBalancer
Nutritional Balance and Support for the Endocrine System.
Indications
Endocrine support and balance
Product details
The endocrine system uses hormonal glandular secretions to convey information between tis- sues. This information regulates target tissue function. For example, the parathyroid can release hormones that stimulate a target tissue to produce an effect, such as a rise in serum calcium.
Hormone production, efficiency of delivery and metabolism regulate hormone response. Hormones are derived from proteins, peptides, enzymes and vitamins. The ingredients in BioBalancer offer essential nutritional support to assist with healing strategies to keep the endocrine system in balance.
Recommended usage
As a dietary supplement take 1-4 capsules daily with meals, or as directed.
Key ingredients
Vitamin A (Beta carotene, palmitate and fish liver oil powder) 5,000 IU – Important for the health of skin and eyes. May help protect the body from pollutants and in preventing problems like ulcers, atherosclerosis and its attendant complications such as high blood pressure and stroke.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 150 mg – Plays an important role in the formation and maintenance of collagen. It is known to stimulate adrenal function, help thyroid hormone production, aid in cholesterol metabolism and act as an antioxidant.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 200 IU – Found mainly in fish liver oils. Helps to regulate calcium metabolism and normal calcification of the bones in the body as well as influencing utilization of the mineral Phosphorous.
Vitamin E (dl-alpha tocopherol, acetate) 60 IU – Widely used as an antioxidant to reduce oxidation of lipid membranes and unsatu- rated fatty acids and prevents the breakdown of other nutrients by oxygen.
Vitamin B1 (thiamine) 15 mg – Supports the nervous system and has a key metabolic role in the cellular production of ATP.
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) 5 mg – Known to help cells utilize oxygen and for normal cell growth. Involved in the complex respiratory processes occurring in the mitochondria of cells.
Vitamin B3 (niacin) 75 mg – Said to stimulate circulation and reduce cholesterol levels in the blood due to its involvement in the metabolism of fats. Also stimulates gastric juices.
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCL) 3 mg – Important in the utilization of all food sources for energy and in facilitating the release of gly- cogen from the liver and muscles.
Folic Acid (folate) 400 mcg – Assists with many amino acid conversions such as the methylation of methionine, serine, histidine and choline.
Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamine) 1500 mcg – Known as the “energy” vitamin. Needed for the activation of folic acid and essential for the syntheses of methionine.
Pantothenic Acid (calcium pantothenate) 15 mg – Anti-stress vitamin important in energy and in protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism. Involved in the synthesis of hormones and neurotransmitters.
Calcium (aspartate) 25 mg – Best known for the development and maintenance of bones and teeth.
Iron (aspartate) 10 mg – Best known for the formation of hemoglobin.
Iodine (from Bladderwrack frond) 100 mcg – Essential in the production of thyroid hormones which are responsible for the body’s basal metabolic rate (BMR).
Magnesium (aspartate) 15 mg – Considered the “anti-stress” mineral as it relaxes skeletal and smooth muscles.
Zinc (aspartate) 15 mg – Helps the liver detoxify alcohols.
Selenium (sodium selenite) 50 mcg – Antioxidant support.
Copper (aspartate) 8 mg – A catalyst in the formation of hemoglobin. It is also known to help control levels of histamine.
Manganese (aspartate) 7.5 mg – Involved in enzyme systems responsible for energy production, protein metabolism, bone forma- tion and the synthesis of L-dopamine, cholesterol and mucopolysaccharides.
Chromium (as GTF) 50 mcg – Regulates carbohydrate metabolism by enhancing insulin function.
Molybdenum (aspartate) 150 mcg – Vital in uric acid formation, iron utilization, carbohydrate metabolism and sulfite detoxification.
Potassium (aspartate) 10 mg – Regulates the water balance and the acid-base balance in the blood and tissues.
